It is not too late to get your child’s name in for wanting to be a candidate for a preschool at St. Mary School. We are looking at current students and 5 years out to make sure we have enough interest to support the program. Currently, we are envisioning opening this up to both 3- and 4-year-old students.
The program would be all day, with the option of only sending ½ day for those that want that type of day for their child. Preference will go towards 4-year-olds and members of the parish, but the program would be open to all as long as we have room. Other details will be given as we move forward. Please don’t hesitate to call or seek out members working on this project if you have questions
May Crowning/Art Show/Reception
May Crowning/ Art Show/ and Reception
Our annual May Crowning/Art Show/ and Reception will be held on Wednesday, May 4th, at 6:30 PM in the church. All students are expected to participate. Grades 5-8 make up the Rosary, grades 2-4 make up the choir, and grades K and 1 present flowers during the event. Grades 5-8 will report to the church basement, grades 2-4 to the choir loft, and K & 1st to the front pews of the church. We ask that all are in their spots by 6:20 that night. Thank you. Please plan to attend the Art Show and Reception after the event at church. This will be held in the cafeteria. Cookie donations are needed.
WEDNESDAY MAY 11TH – GRANDPARENT MASS AND RECEPTION. Please mark your calendar and plan to have your child invite their grandparents or special guest to Mass that day. We will follow Mass with a reception, visit to the classrooms and ask that Grandparents depart at morning recess time at 10 AM. Look for invites coming home with kids very soon.
Please try to log into the FACTS program ASAP. Teachers should be entering grades on a regular basis so that you can track your child’s progress. Students should also have their own login option. If you encounter a problem, please contact the school office. Progress Report (September 17th) time will be here next Friday and we do not want parents to have any surprises.
Thanks to everyone that has completed or attempted to complete this training. If you have encountered a problem while attempting this training, please let us know. We will give it another week before we send out an additional reminder. Please remember that this is not an option, but a new policy required for enrollment from the diocese. Thank you for completing it in a timely manner.
Reminders and new copies of forms still missing in the office will come home today. Follow-up phone calls will start next week. This paperwork is not optional and must be completed ASAP. Thank you!
