November 27, 2020

Thank You!

Thank you to all who participated in any way to help make our Fall Dinner a huge success!  We served 1,611 meals!  Thanks again,

Father Hartley

Thank you
We are very grateful, thankful, and blessed to have such a wonderful response from parishioners and the community surrounding the Fall Dinner.  Seeing the many hands come together and support the parish in countless ways was humbling and heartwarming.  We are many parts, but all one body.  Thank you, God and the Blessed Mother for providing us such beautiful weather! Many thanks to you all, and may God bless you and keep you safe!

Fall Dinner News

November 08, 2020

Mass will be held at 8 am at St. Mary Church and at 10 am at St. Joseph Church on November 8, 2020 to allow time for set-up of the parking lot for the drive-thru service for the Fall Dinner.

There will be an auction, the Craft Corner, Country Kitchen, Religious Goods and Raffle Items at the Knights of Columbus Hall this year to allow for social distancing.  We still need Country Kitchen and Craft items and Auction donations.

We are aware of the recent exposure of the COVID virus at the public school.  As of this time we are having the Fall Dinner as planned.  Please watch the bulletin for further details.

Fall Dinner 2020

August 31, 2020

The Fall Dinner Committees are beginning their work to prepare for this annual event in our parish here at St. Mary’s.  The plan is to hold the Fall Dinner as we usually do with contingency plans that may involve having only carry-outs if that is necessary and altering some other aspects of the day depending on the situation we find ourselves in months from now. Other parishes have canceled their events and some of our parishioners may think we should do the same. But the Fall Dinner is something that brings our parish family together and is something that would be very difficult to re-start if we are forced to cancel it this year. I believe that we should continue to make the preparations for the Fall Dinner and trust that we will have continued success in this parish-wide endeavor. I know that you all look forward to this annual event and so do many others from Glasgow and other communities who come to St. Mary’s for a wonderful meal and the shared happiness that the day brings.  Thank you and God bless you all.
